Good Vibes Mug — 15oz Art Deco Ceramic Mug with Charcoal Handle

The Good Vibes Mug by PrintMyVibe is a 15oz ceramic mug carrying an Art Deco composition – “Good Vibes” in a tall, high-contrast serif, built into a frame of geometric marks: fine parallel line fans, filled half circles, a warm sand triangle, a thin crosshair and a scatter of small stars and diamonds. Black and sand on white, with a charcoal grey handle and interior.

The size is the first thing you notice. At 15oz this holds 444ml, which is half again what a standard mug takes – a full pour-over, a proper bowl-sized morning coffee, or a tea you are not going to get up and refill. It stands 4.6 inches tall against the usual 3.8.

The second thing is the restraint. Most “good vibes” merchandise shouts in bubble letters and rainbow gradients. This one borrows from 1920s poster design instead: strong vertical type, geometry doing the decorating, and exactly two colours plus the white of the ceramic. It reads as a design object that happens to say something nice, rather than a slogan with a mug attached.

The charcoal trim is what holds it together. A pure black handle would fight the black in the print; charcoal sits a half step softer, so the artwork stays the darkest thing on the mug and the silhouette still reads as graphic rather than stark.

About our printing: The design is baked into the mug’s surface rather than stuck on top, so there is no edge to lift and nothing to peel. Each mug is pressed by hand in our North York studio and inspected before it ships.
