The Too Ghoul For You Hoodie by PrintMyVibe is a black unisex pullover carrying a scene rather than a slogan – a hooded ghost slumped on the floor in pink high-top sneakers, iced coffee in hand, with a black cat sitting beside it thinking in little hearts. Around them, dripping hot-pink hearts, lilac stars and sparkles, and “TOO GHOUL FOR YOU” set in loose graffiti script underneath. Small on the left chest as a single dripping heart, and the whole scene full size across the back.

The palette is the point. Most Halloween apparel is orange and black and reads as a costume for one night. This is hot pink, lilac and white on black – closer to a tour hoodie than a seasonal one, which is why it keeps getting worn in January. The ghost is not scary; it is tired, caffeinated and sitting with its cat, which is a mood rather than a holiday.

The back print is where the detail lives. Up close the line work is loose and hand-drawn, the hearts actually drip, and the cat has its own thought bubble. From across a room you read the lettering and the silhouette. It works at both distances, which is the test a large back print has to pass.

About our printing: The design is pressed into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it, so there is no stiff plastic panel and nothing to crack at the fold. Each hoodie is printed by hand in our North York studio and inspected before it ships.
